Very rarely will we cancel training, but if we do there are a number of ways we will inform you, either here on the website, via our facebook page, twitter account or once you’re a regular member of the crew you’ll receive a text or a phone call from of of the clubs trainers or committee members.
A typical midweek training session will last roughly 60 minutes whilst Sunday sessions are slightly longer at 90 minutes, we have the use of full changing facilities at St Neots Rowing Club, shower facilities are available but at a small individual fee made payable annually to the rowing club.
We provide everything you need to come give it a go, a paddle, a life jacket and collectively over 60 years of experience in Dragonboating, all you need to do is turn up with plenty of enthusiasm and a change of clothes, after all it is a watersport so you may get wet.
We’ll give you a months worth of free sessions before you need to part company with a single penny. And even after that its not an expensive way to get outdoors, keep fit, meet new people and have a whale of a time in the process! We can even offer you the opportunity to represent Great Britain at an International Event.
Just like several of our members, past and present have, you don’t need to be a world class athlete to take part, all we ask for is a very basic level of fitness and the ability to be able to swim 50 meters whilst lightly clothed, you can wear a life jacket to do this should you need to though! We’d love you to come and try this fantastic sport, if you fancy giving it a whirl please feel free to contact one us via the contact page.
